The town of Jackson, New Hampshire is famous for its story-book New England charm…from its covered bridges to its white-steeped churches. Also making Jackson and this area of the White Mountains special are the many activities the region has to offer. Alpine skiing at Cranmore Mountain, Attitash/Bear Peak, Wildcat and Black Mountain is just minutes away while cross country skiing is found in town. In the warmer months guests enjoy hiking, swimming in the local rivers and waterfalls, biking, and tax-free shopping in nearby North Conway. Not to be forgotten is nearby Storyland, Attitash Mountain’s Alpine Slide, the Mt. Washington Cog Railroad and gondola rides to catch the view from the top of Wildcat Mountain (don’t forget the ‘Zip Line’ ride down too!).
